One of My Friends Was Fired Today, Feeling Really Down for Him😔
One of my close friends, who has been on the bench for the last three months, was unfortunately fired today. I feel really sad for him. He is a very nice and hardworking person. I am absolutely shocked and blank after hearing this news, and I know he must be feeling the same. Until now, I used to say that no one I know at TCS has been fired, but now I can’t even say that because I know someone who has been let go, and two others I know are still on the bench. I sincerely hope God protects and guides them through these tough times.
Yes, he had once received an offer of 18 LPA, but at that time our GL convinced him not to go, saying things like “higher package companies will hire and fire you anytime”. He trusted that advice and stayed back.
Until 4–5 months ago, the situation wasn’t like how it is today. Earlier, people used to think of TCS as something even safer than a government job. But many forgot one simple truth — at the end of the day, a private job is still a private job.
As our beloved former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam once said: “Love your job, but never love your company. Because you never know when the company stops loving you.”
C3A and above they are not looking anything just removing them from bench. Below C3A they r looking if they have joined during corna time, their package vs yoe
We all should support each other during these bad times. Really pray to god all should again get into good jobs.
Did he get severance pay?
What was the grade? 3 months is a long time..
