One of my friend manager let him know that TCS is removing 30,000 people in the shade of 12,000 layoffs. What a Shame.
The actual count is approx 90k. For avoiding image and reputation issues in media the figure quoted was 12k only.
Image is already gone.
Service companies like these screwed the entire professional consulting environment in India for decades now.... maybe now ot will get better after these companies are gone. They killed IT consulting for their self gains.
The main person to be blamed for this is present mess is present CHRO (Milind), who could forsee the impact of AI and groom workforce accordingly... and was busy promoting Wings courses ... a block of some 60/70 time wasting courses that benefitted none... and he is now retiring happily!
Once you resign or get removed from TCS, they are going to block re-hire opportunity also for entire lifetime. So, It's time to block/boycott Tata's goods and services also.

RMG cannot guide but Fact is not giving go-ahead for selected associates & showing doors later. TCS will be forgotten, freshers are avoiding TCS, laterals have already blacklisted TCS.
TCS leadership waited for sir ratan tata death. Not even 1 yr completed a lot of changes. Stay tuned for many, all can be a part of non-deployed now or later, upskill,keep learning , help each other (especially psychologically ) & jump ASAP
Check next q2 result , employee strength will be less than 5 lakhs. Let shut for ....vocal for local. By tata car 🚗...
Tell him to to get included in that 30K and have a better life.
