One more nail in the coffin... 8th pay commission

Was it not enough that we are already at the highest level of corruption, govt employees not doing anything what is expected from them and then we get this news of 8th pay commission along with all the freebies each state govt is giving. Where are we going as a country? Is there anything else left to see or read ?

Come out of your bubble first! Govt employees also have a lot of work pressure and have a family to feed. Not every sector is getting paid a good salary.

Which bubble are you talking about and why is everyone trying to attack others on the internet? Why are we just becoming internet soldiers ? Seems like you haven't gone to government offices or dealt with government employees recently? I am not saying that all of them are corrupt but the majority of them are and that's a sad truth. I also know that they have families to feed so may be increase salaries of low salaried employees instead of just introducing a new pay structure itself. Don't forget they also receive a lot of allowances apart from salary. And all of this salary hike and all would indirectly impact tax payers only

Govt just approved 8th pay commission. And the hikes and base pay are just insane. On top of it, I don't see corruption reducing one bit.

Today I saw my payslip after a long time and WTH! I don't know what they'll take once bonus comes in. Paying this much for no water, bad air, corrupt babus and all those douche things.

As much as patriotic I am, ...

Tax

Every year we work for almost 3+ months ONLY FOR GOVERNMENT. It really hits hard and an eye opener as we barely get anything in reverse.
