One Foreign Country Visit, India Feels like a Scam

I have been to European countries, I was always fascinated by the cleanliness, civic sense people have there. The countries were so clean. Well, I though that they are all rich and easy to clean everything and keep surroundings clean and had forgotten it.

Last two years, I have been exploring Asian countries, 10 times poorer than India. Like Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia.

India honestly feels like a scam, lets leave these metro cities. Even popular tourist places like Himachal, Uttrakhand, Rajasthan are so horribly maintained. Is it really the government's job to clean or we should improve our civic sense. Lets not even talk about Bangalore, Mumbai.. I have stayed there and horrible infrastructure and roads.

India honestly feels like a scam.

"Asian countries, 10 times poorer than India"
Dude, wtf are you talking about?

Malaysia has a per capita GDP of around $12K, compared to only $3K for India.

So in a sense, the wealth per person is 4 times higher than India, not lower. So they are richer countries than India, not poorer

Goal should be to earn money and get out of here

That's why people migrate out of India.

Also other countries in South East Asia aren't "poor", they're classified as "middle income" category.

Unfortunately contemporary India has become concentration camp for humans. Social aspect has steeply degenerated and gone in negative. Everything now revolves around money and physical pleasures.

Some places are good while some ok and others bad in India. Uncontrolled population is a culprit. The reason why the mental state of our society neglects cleanliness is to do with order. Order implies step-by-step, a process, complete organization. In developed societies their history imparted "orderliness" in the very beginning. In India, our ancestors said, control oneself by arresting thoughts so that one day you will see atma/higher being/the supreme bla bla bla. So you see less importance was given to construct your thoughts of the highest form.
In essence, as Indiana we do think but struggle with constructing sophisticated thoughts among the masses. Everyone wants to get somewhere but would do just the needed.
The population explosion just exaggerated it adversely. In fact, if our beginnings were deeply embedded in creating order in daily life, we would still be a clean country despite The population. Cleanliness, is one of the aspects of "orderliness".
