To manager: Well, I do have regular talks with him, without the need to sugar coat, he kind of is my professional therapist I can say. All I wish to vent, I can, and come out with a light mind.
To few other teammates, well just speak the truth and let them know about their hypocrisy.
Stop playing safe games from your end. Take responsibility for the team fault as yours, and give some appreciation for the work completed man. You are living with such a deprived mindset, even a small compliment feels like giving 1Cr from your pocket. And the deadline mails you keep without even consulting me as if you are the demigod who knows what timeline everyone can accomplish.

I'd say "Thank You". I've been fortunate to have great managers till now who have been Friends more than Managers. All of them have always been frank, supportive, appreciative and understanding of me and my work (and almost all of them loved to share "inside news and chugli" with me 😉).
I would say - well done for fucking up new task too.
