One boundary we desperately need to learn from EU/US folks
Working with EU teams recently and honestly it's wild how they just... log off. A guy from Munich in my org drops a "done for the day" message at 5 PM sharp on Slack and literally vanishes into thin air. No checking emails on phone, no "just one quick sync". If something breaks after his working hours he will look at it tomorrow morning. Meanwhile here we are apologizing for taking 15 mins to reply to a random "hi" at 9:30 PM while having dinner What is one work boundary you guys have noticed with foreign teams that we Indians desperately need to normalize?

- People have a life outside the office
- Just because people have a hobby doesn't mean we are not hardworking.
- Having a constipated look doesn't mean the person is working hard .
- People go on vacations. That's why we have earned leaves. Why would I take a leave and sit at home?
- When a man has a beautiful wife/girlfriend he will post photos smiling. Daanth hai to pakoda kao.
- I don't have to give a valid reason to take a l" earned leaves". My leaves are like my salary. You don't control when and where to spend them.
- It is perfectly normal to have a backup plan, a side business. Don't try to be the pimp. This is not a brothel.
- You are a cog in the wheel. Just like every one else. The hierarchy is for administrative convenience. Smoking breaks got you that promotion. Remember that.
- My job is not a matter of national security. I don't have to give 3 month notice. When 30 mins is more than enough to replace me.

Point 9 hits so hard man. We really need to stop treating our corporate jobs like national security matters. They would replace us in a heartbeat anyway.
