Show him the fingers (waving) and move on!! Going to US is like a 3 years plan with many ifs and buts. People with visa stamped also waiting for Mir than year. Not sure which stage you are in currently. But not worth it compared to 120% hikeZ

This seems to be a fake promise. Maybe he actually might do it but definitely gonna take time. Plus there are a lot of people already in line from Infosys. Each year US has only a set number of slots for each country and that includes a other organization's aswell. So probably its gonna take time. Plus with the current Trump administration, things can change any moment as this is the least stability they had in decades. Manager can only influence maybe 10% in your onsite. 120% hike on the other hand is a very good hike considering current market and thats gonna happen in next 90 days max.

Even my colleagues who got 78k are not willing to go on-site. At least ask for more than 80k for onsite

For TA u can get max around 60k so think again it's not worth going onsite if u have family
