On-shore Commitments

I recently moved to UK in December for a project assignment, with my allocation set until the end of the March. I've heard that the client is not willing to extend the project contracts due to funding issues and is downgrading the teams. I've only completed 2 months here, and they have raised an ICT visa (2 years). Will I be accommodated in other projects in the UK, or will I need to return to offshore?
