It’s the worst. Specially if you aren’t from a top 20 college. Campus placements suck.
Personally from my college - the worst companies would come and my college would force us to sit for all interviews. Whether we wanted it or didn’t

Let me tell you the profs already talked to the recruiters about the best students they know also if not consider this as the luck by chance process even you know well someone with good GPA will excel.
