On campus job is deferred to 2024, have another offer
My on campus job offer got deferred to 2024 with no exact month or date given. I was interning at a company and now am planning to join as FTE here till that job arrives. The off campus offer is ok ok, I do not enjoy it but am doing it to prevent resume gap and earn some money.
I have plan to switch to the on campus job in 2024 when it arrives by resigning at the current company. I am worried if it will create any problem? Can the on campus job offer be revoked? Any issue with the pf account transfer?
Sitting idle and waiting for next year does not seem sensible to me. Please let me know your thoughts.

It won't create any problems. Simply remove the existing job from your CV for future endeavours if it creates issues. What if the on campus job never materializes? Then atleast you have something.
Would it be enough to just omit the job from CV? Companies do thorough background verification before onboarding.. will it not create problems? Also, what about the PF account?
Leaving out work ex is a personal choice, it's off your CV, nobody cares about that one place you spent 9 months at.
No it won’t create any problem. Why will the next company have any objection to you having worked with another company when sitting idle!
