Trending @Accenture; On Call Shift Allowance
I had supported on 1st May despite being a public holiday, so I was going to charge for On-Call public holiday.
Now, I am being told to charge on one Saturday, one Sunday & one Monday i.e 2 On-Call Weekend and 1 On-Call Weekday instead of 1st May.
Would this affect the total amount I was supposed to get ? and also why would they have asked me to do so?
1st May was IDC holiday, You get a day of pay plus a day comp off. It probably also requires approval from HR to work on that day which your manager wont take.
So if I charge for the above 3 days then will I get the same amount as I would have if I charged on 1st ?
Managers are ridiculous. They made me login for 2-3 hr on 1st May and asked to add C shift to any other day although I already add B shift everyday. Hence I will get just 250₹ extra for working on 1st May.
