I joined in capgemini as a fresher and they have not given any project yet. Told us to learn different tech stacks and kept doing some pocs. Is this normal in cg?
Not just CG but nowadays it’s same across all service based companies, due to proliferating AI, everyone wants to ride on it so non-AI projects or certain tech stack will have less number of projects.
Better to upskill in such tech stack projects which has lesser chances of getting affected by AI, or learn AI and stay relevant in this changing times.
Lots of PoCs are going on in AI projects, once they take into production then get to know about the feasibility/profitability, it might take around 5 years for things to get settle down. Better to avoid the noise of AI replacing human, think of AI is a smart assistant.
