On Bench
I got released from a very disastrous project in which I had worked almost every weekend. Now I want to rest for at least a week but from the day after yesterday I am getting calls , emails and messages for other projects. What will be the consequences if I ignore these calls and emails for a week?

The better approach for taking project is, to take project based on your interested technology (even though that technology is tougher). If you take up project based on some interesting technologies/tools, then even though project is toxic, atleast you can learn something( some satisfaction would be there).
Otherwise, if you try for easy project (some redundant tasks type), then you may suffer in next stages of career.

It's not so easy.. if u stuck in some projects where they continues billing based on head count.. that project never release u.. only choice u have to leave organization.. in that projects managers are behave like vultures

Ignore such managers and all. Even they have to harass you for company profit. If you can't leave job, then parallelly learn some technology or for other career path, it would be definitely so hard. Society is designed in such a way that to make non-rich people's live as hell. Try hard and make a good plan to move out and execute it.

Go on vacation or Recive call 90% not match your skill set. If u don't recive call.. it will pass same message to RMG

Actually I have planned vacation and applied today also but it is not approved so can I use this time as leave even if the leave request is pending for approval

As per my experience...It's OK to not accept the project if you don't find relevant to your experience you are seeking... But do not ignore calls, reply to the mails, let them know the reason for denying the project... You should be fine...

Just Kidding 😂 :
Hey you , RMG here, join in some random project man, till you join some project, we will follow you. Quick!! Time is money (for company only) man...

You can take the calls but do not answer properly even you knew the answer but respond incorrectly so they do not onboard you.
