On a lighter note

So I was interviewing this candidate who goes on to add "I’m a fast learner" I was like - Great, then let’s start with a quick test - Name three things you’ve learned this year at your startup?

Candidate cracked his knuckles, adjusted his neck, leaned back like a bollywood hero in a dhishoom scene - and says ... "I’ve learned how to keep my resume updated"

I told him - Lesson one : never underestimate the value of a well-timed lie Also, that’s when I knew the candidate was perfect for the startup - because nothing says {I’m startup ready} like {being layoff-ready 24/7}
