Planning to buy an OLED Ultrawide Both of these monitors are the same price in India. Anyone have thoughts on this comparison? Anyone here is an owner of any of these monitors?
Whats the use case? Spreadsheets or Gaming?
Gaming (Single player and multiplayer), Youtube, Twitch, Discord, Reddit - mostly for media consumption and not for productivity.
I'd recommend either only if you primarily do a lot of FPS. Else a flat screen works better for me (personal choice).
The G9 resolution and aspect ratio needs to be supported by the games you play - else you'll just see black bars on the edge of that massive screen real estate.
The G8 is optimally sized and I'd buy that as being more manageable.

get a WQHD instead of a FHD one. You’ll love it (context: i recently got an FHD one and regret not getting WQHD)
