When was the community most active with most regulars, most banter and unique posts? When is your favourite memories of the platform from? Which fallen soldiers do you miss the most?
Scott promising DM's as a feature 😆😆 I joined in October 23 that was the best. I believe scaling the platform involves lots of noise getting added along the way, talks gets more concentrated towards highly influenced topics which is
salary/ networth which ideally is not wrong .
That reduces the quality of talks by significant amount that's what I learnt.

I joined pretty early and I felt it was amazing during late 2022 and early 2023. Felt like a band of brothers who were combating against layoffs. Interview tips, negotiation tactics, payscales were flooding timelines. Office watercooler gossips were discussed.
There was this one motivational procedural post on pay negotiation with HRs (will link in comments if I find it today) that touched me. That post was the hook for me to stick to the platform.

DM were greatest addition but before that posts were only source. And man we had posts on everything and people genuinely responded on them.
Now it is just ego money fame
2022 - Corporate Chat India that is pre grapevine, when shantanu, thakur, geek, box , couple of other people were highly contributing along with some edgelords for the humor and smex topics. Now too much noise from witch and salary d**k measuring contests going on.
Damn, that was a time unlike any other Thakur gives me chills when I read it even today...
I think there are those moments every now and then, but I remember 2023 was just very crazy, too much happening in startups and all the news would come here
News still comes, but I think industry has less masala
