Yup. I didn't know Gujarati for most of my life. Everyone treated me just as well. Now that I am fluent in Gujarati, I get the added benefit of enjoying banter and ડાયરો.

Gujaratis have never been hostile to outsiders, they understand the role of outsiders and how they help their economy. There's mutual trust. That's why outsiders also love Gujarat.
