Offered lower compensation
I was recently an intern at DE Shaw. I had troubles with my manager from the start, as he was very hands-off, and wasn't really available from the start.
In the end, I ended up with a PPO, However, the compensation offered seems to be lower by 10 lakhs (all in base salary, from what I know). I'm sure I did great work, and just ended up the lower comp because of my managers review.
Should I try negotiating for a higher offer? Would it work if I don't have any competing offers?
