Offer surprise!

So one company HR after a lot of talking finalised x amount

But send me a salary structure screenshot of 2x and told me to consider this as an offer letter. Said she will give me an offer and appointment letter on joining day. In cc official company HR email and other HRs are present

I replied yes. Coz if they wanna give me more I don't have any problem right

Now she comes and says sorry it was mistakenly sent and considers the below x salary structure

What shall I be doing here?

Could be an honest mistake. Could be a slip up for the actual budget. Who knows?

Did you try pushing them beyond X?

It looks like an honest mistake to me. Reality only they will know. I guess no chances of pushing.

Well u decided on x then if u like the company just go with x. Else risk it for at least 1.5x
