Offer negotiation with counter offer
I have signed an offer letter with 25 lpa, 2 months back and am about to join them in 10 days. Yesterday I have received an offer with 30 lpa with 100% remote. I want to join the first company because of the career goals and work environment. Would it be wise to send an email to them to match the salary or would that backfire?
PS: The first company waited for 3 months for my joining and also dispatched the laptop yesterday. Feeling personal to cheat them!!
100% remote jobs are very uncertain (according to me). What if they change the policy.. What if you have some issues & need to reach out to your colleagues.. What if the whole damn company vanishes overnight 🌚
Go with first one .
You can inform them of counter offer and see if they increase, even if kot increase still you can join.
