Offer letter Rejected

Hi I have accepted offer letters from both EY and Cognizant, and both have the same joining date (April 17). I've decided to go ahead with EY. Is it okay if I inform Cognizant HR now that I won't be joining? Will there be any negative consequences if I inform them at the last minute ? How to send a mail with proper content? The reason is below: as I ey provide more package revised offer letter today only. Thanks

Etni clear explanation dene ki koi jarurat nhi he bhai,
Kabhi dekha hai koi HR bata de ki use kam package pe dusre candidate mil gye isliye apko reject kia hai.

Here is the example mail

Subject: Withdrawal of Acceptance – Joining on April 17

Dear ...

I would like to sincerely thank you and the team for extending the offer and the opportunity to be a part of Cognizant. However, due to a recent development and after careful consideration, I have decided to pursue a different opportunity that aligns more closely with my career goals and compensation expectations.

As a result, I regret to inform you that I will not be able to join Cognizant on the scheduled date of April 17.

I truly appreciate the time and effort you’ve invested in my recruitment process, and I hope to stay in touch in the future.

If the joining date is April 17, then this is the right time to inform Cognizant. Don't wait for the last day. And there will be no negative consequences, they will just block you for 3-6 months from applying again. That's it.

If you are joining as java developer I must warn you that java projects are very less here. If any other technology thn you can join.
