Offer letter on hold after interview and salary negotiation

I recently interviewed for a senior analyst postion at EY GDS. After the interview (approx 20days) i was asked to fill CIS form and submit my documents ( resume, Aadhar, salary slip) and my salary negotiation was also done but after 15 days the HR says the position has been put on hold. Anyone has any idea how long will this take ,
