Offer Discussion - HR disappointed
Yesterday, I had my final offer discussion round with HR. Everything went well for the first 30mins - she explaining work culture and life there, benefits, breakdown etc.
Then she's confirming my LWD, to give the relevant joining date.
I thought of being honest now. I told her my actual LWD which is Dec 22nd. Earlier I told was Nov 25th to make this interview process happen.
At the end of the call, She asked me to complete BGV and told me, I need to check with client on offer. She left with some distrust look on me.

You should have told the new joining date as nov 26th. Then after some days u could have said some reasons like my NP has extended or else to delay my DOJ due to some medical conditions
Great suggestion. I did it for my 1st offer which worked. This time, I tried being honest I miserably failed.
