Off topic - Need suggestions
I am based out of Kolkata , and looking to buy a car. I am not a skilled proficient driver , but have occasionally driven in my hometown where there is very less traffic.This will be my first car .
Should I go for used car with manual or automatic transmission ? or
Shall I purchase a new automatic car directly ?
My budget is around 10 lacs. Exter AMT feels to be a good choice, but as my hand is not set I am slightly hesitant to buy a new car. Scratch lag Gaya to bura feel hoga .
What will you suggest based on your personal experience ?
As automatic is costlier compared to manual, people are saying just go with manual and you will learn eventually. Kolkata traffic is scary and I am not in a mood for any experiment.

Go for Automatic, your legs will thank you specially in traffic.
And coming to the car, if your budget is 10L go for Nexon. Exter is good but a little compact (atleast it felt to me).
Additionally, Go for Diesel or CNG even if required to go for one version less.
Any reason for diesel ? I don’t have much running and diesel vehicle doesn’t make sense . CNG is good , but it adversely affects the boot space .
