Obvious North - South divide on….

There is obviously a North - South divide. But it is not on language. There is a gap on ‘Behaviour’ , ‘Basic etiquette’ . The moment you step on to get a flight back to your “home” , you get to hear the foul-mouthed people, again, from the airport waiting gates only. 100 out of 100 times I will choose to live in the south India.

Ah yes, the irony of preaching etiquette while spewing sweeping insults—self-awareness really took that flight without you.

Insult?
Where is the insult?

It's a cultural difference. The North has seen a war or battle every 10 years for the last 1000 or more years. So, yes. The north is quite belligerent as a way of life.

Since they took upon all the brunt of war, the south has been relatively peaceful. The caste politics of the 60-70s are now seeing the results. With everyone disliking everyone.

That " basic etiquette" that you point is spot on. I experienced it too. In south of you want something done from a blue collar worker, a polite request or " please" will certainly get the job done. In north you ask someone politely, it will never get done. Politiness is always seen as a weakness there.

Why does something have to be superior ? Basic behaviour and etiquette doesn't define that..
