Claiming NPS income tax benefits is a straightforward process. Under Section 80CCD(1), you can claim up to 10% of your salary (basic + DA) or gross income.

An extra deduction is available under Section 80CCD(2) for employer's contribution. Additionally, Section 80CCD(1B) allows an extra deduction of Rs. 50,000
