NPS - Information required

I have opted for new tax regime for the current year and as per my research only deduction that can be claimed is NPS.

  1. In this regard is 50k investment into NPS a good option ?
  2. Is it better to do NPS from TCS like setting it up with BOB and all, or its better to do from public banks outside TCS?

Can any of the experienced folks shed some light on this 😄

HDFC is managing NPS on behalf of TCS, it's a good option since you will get extra 10% of basic as exception im addition to 50K.

Bro individual contribution is not considered in new regime,,only corporate contribution of 10% basic is considered

Yes as per my research, only 10% of basic and da is exempted in new regime, not the personal contribution. With this in mind does it make sense to still do it through corporate? Or I'm better of doing it from outside?
