Notice period reduction

I've been wanting to join this excellent company asap atleast by next 20 dats. But TCS HR is saying that I've to stay for 90 days. I'm just sitting on a project with no job whatsoever.

It's so painful for me that I couldn't join the company which is offering me an excellent project to work on and it would be a best learning for me(I believe).

Ask for payout from the new company if possible. Negotiate for settlement

Going through the same currently. Got a good offer and they are asking me to join this month. I am allocation in a project with no work and have talked to the HR to provide me early release. She said its upto the management and I'll get to know about it next week. How many days it has been sonce you've resigned?

Your hr atleast said that. My hr girl said like can't do nothing on notice period. It's been 20 since I resigned

Put the resignation and Stop working and just visit the office.

If we stop working, extension of notice period is the last horrible thing we would except.
