Notice period query.

Don't say about your actual company till you leave. HR never ask the company name.
Manager should not ask either.
Just give reply like having multiple offers from Accenture, IBM, Infosys etc... And still further looking for more options till last day of release.

Normally it is avoided as if not in good terms with manager, s/he may connect someone with the other company and give bad feedback. If you are sure manager has no such intention and will not share with anyone else (especially hr), you may share.
