Notice period Obsession
I don't understand why people don't work or don't want to work during notice.
I personally feel if you are being paid then it's your responsibility to work. If not work then giving KT to others resources for transition is your responsibility.
By that logic we should not work beyond normal hours as employee, we should not be forced to attend team dinner, team building activities on week ends, we should be treated with dignity even during layoffs.. do they do that?

Agreed, before Covid employees used to work on the desktop and no one used to ask the employee to come back and login once they left the office then why now?
Most times people choose to leave an organization because of their boss. Feeling un/underappreciated and overworked. One not working or giving complete KT is a reflection of bad behaviour from the company to that employee.
Unfortunately, the world doesn't work on how anyone feels!
