Trending @Infosys; Notice period issue
Hi everyone,
I am in a deep shit now. I got an offer from a product based company which is offering me 10 LPA but the joining date is on 7th April, 2025. I have negotiated with Infosys and brought the 90 days notice period to 30 days and now I am reliving from Infosys on 15 april 2025. Now at first the new company agreed to change my joining date and then suddenly they said that their business team is not approving and there will be a compliance issue and I should be mandatorily joining on 7th April or else they will drop my application. Now I have already fought with my managers over this and I am in bad terms now. I don't know what further action I should take because Infosys won't reduce the reliving date again. Will really appreciate your inputs on this.

You're lucky that they decreased from 90 to 30 days, its not even possible in my project all previous ppl sufferd the same lost some good offers eventually served 90 days and go out without even a offer in hand.

Yes, not even single day reduction in notice period for a billable resource. I'm surprised to see 60 days reduction.
I think your manager/HR will not agree for further reduction.

You can revoke your resignation even 1 day before your LWD

Try to push for late joining date. In worst case you can try to get another offer as you will quick joiner advantage.

Thank you so much! I have done everything to convince them in a nice and polite way but they are saying there's nothing they could do, even i agreed I'll join on the official date for mandatory training without pay so that my official joining date could be 16th apr, but still they say it's not possible

One option is buyout Leave everything else and grow

If you can crack the 10 lpa offer you can crack other orgs too keep trying. I don't see a need to stay back in this organisation once you have resigned.

Tell me how you did this I am fighting for a reduction in notice period they are not reducing even for 15 days.

How did you even do that😲.. 30 days is awesome

Reduction to 30 days is the max Infy can do. You can't push any further

I think Infosys has done its part here. Now the ball is in the new org's court. Try convincing them nicely; hope they understand and accommodate. It's a matter of just one week 🤞🏼
