Notice period issue

I have cleared interview in one organisation. After they told you your np is 3 month so unable to proceed . Before interview , it was fine for them . How to negotiate this situation?

Nothing, they might have got someone who can join early. The same thing has happened to me.

Abscond from tcs. Dont login/answer call/report to office. They will auto initiate separation. Apart from this approval you can put paper and apply long sick leave. They will not pay you to be on sick leave and initiate early release.

Well tbh NP 90 days is an issue for most organisations.

From another company's PoV they need to wait alot to get a hire. Their requirement is immediate.

My ex colleagues put in their Paper and hunted for jobs. Close to 45-50 days of serving NP they started getting bombarded with calls and offers.

So if you are serious about a job change then I would suggest putting in paper and then going for interviews head on.

One negotiation tactic is using your uniqueness in the skill set you offer. You have to make the company weight for you. For example we had a guy in our previous project who knew some specific way to integrate legacy systems through intermediate tech into MDM and Enterprise solutions. His skills were niche and unique so he got an OL before he put his paper. Company waited as well and rumours were they were willing to pay his early release fee or something like that.

But yeah long story short if you have some critical unique skill that other orgs cant find elsewhere they are willing to wait. Here selling yourself matters as well.
