Notice period guidelines

Is there any new guideline in NP due to which we have to submit a medical document even for one day sick leave . This was mentioned by my manager. Is it possible to get WFH during this time ?

For more than 2 days of sick leave one needs to present a medical certificate/document not for one day

Usual 6 per quarter, rest depends on understanding between you and your manager if they can allow
