apparently it needs approval from upto two three levels above you, like people lead, manager or business account lead and HR i guess. not sure on that.
and you may have to either pay in money or in terms of your earned leaves for it, so that will decide how early you can be released. Also they need strong reasons to why you're leaving..one of the reason that makes the process easy is when the project itself releases you, for whatever reason they may have. (still the one to pay in money or earned leaves or both is you)
