[Notice Period Buy-out]--Early Release
Has anyone got early release while still being in project? What was the process for getting early release?
I checked with my manager he said even if he approves, HR folks don't approve it. How true is this?
Other company is offering a bonus if I can join within 30 days.

HR looks for Manager approval only for early release. Manager and HR blames each other. You can ask manager to approve early release then you can discuss with HR

Your manager will have to agree that your replacement is onboarded and KT is completed. If its done keeping 2 associates for same role is cost to account. Hence he will drop you an email asking you to confirm if you are fine with early release date. Once you confirm it, your manager will have to forward that email to HR and ask to change your LWD. And off you go.

Unit head approval is needed for early release. The project seeks it on your behalf if they are okay with it post which HR has no say.

Bro both hr and manager play games with us. If the manager wants he can give early release anytime but they usually don't unless they care about a person which normally doesn't happen. But try some medical reasons and produce some medical certificates that can help.

Ask the manager to approve first and then you can take it up with HR. Your manager is lying .

Early release never happens unless you go for higher studies.

HR will not deny if manager approves... It's a bloody game they play to keep you hanging
