Do we need to follow a 12 day policy of work from the office during the notice period???

And if you are living in same city while serving notice period go if you can for me ill come to my hometown. Even if theyll deduct 12 days salary still itll be much cheaper for me to be at my home..

As far as I understand BTO compliance affects rating and appraisal and if you are already leaving the company then why would this matter to you. Just be online on your laptop on working hours.
