Trending @Cognizant; Notice period ??
I am planning to quit but i am not sure about the Notice Period. I have been working at Cognizant for over 2.5 years. I dont have much ideas as what is the ideal notice period to serve. Can i give 2 weeks notice ?? It’s not mentioned in my offer letter.
If you joined the cognizant from 2021 financial year then your notice would be 90 days which you need to serve mandatory.
90 days seems alot ! How will i be able to get a job if its 90 days ! Companies always prefer immediate joiners.
You can ask your manager or GM to decrease the number of days, as you have to email and wait for their answers
I recently resigned, I requested for 30 days notice period instead of 90 days. After some negotiation with my manager he make it to 38 days. Totally depends on your manager. Because he will only forward it further.
So we can but depends on manager as well need to make a reasonable request for 30 days notice

Then 90 days it will be or else you can talk to your manager, if he accepts then it can be reduced using your leaves
