Ideally no. If on bench , it's possible and you can ask HR. If on project , ask your manager citing medical urgency.

Hi @WhiteSlave, so stating medical urgencies, is it possible for me to reduce it to 30 days? Have you seen such cases.
P.S. My unit's entire HR is on leave today :-|
