If we resign when we are on bench... will the company asks us to serve notice period ?if they release us soon... then will we get our np and leave balance payout?

Even I'd you're on bench your np is three months. Second if you get released early BCOS you got a job elsewhere, you won't get paid for three months salary but will get all your dues including leave balance and all.

Nope they let you go id you say you want a certain exit date that saves them cost of your salary. Several people in my team did that, on bench they resigned after finding a job and got an early exit date
