Trending @Accenture; Not sure why accenture doesn't give fixed holidays for Holi,Good Friday in all locations in India.
Accenture follows state policies.
They don't follow....even in the East people celebrate Holi but they gave it as an optional holiday...and it also didn't gave mandatory state holiday for Utkal divas on 1st April
At least accenture should respect the local holidays of the country and state where they are doing business.In other mnc and companies i see holiday is there.Does that mean they are not following state holiday?
However there are total 10 holidays. Enjoy it
Noida location did not get Dusserah holiday in 2024 😔
No Diwali and Durga Puja holidays for kolkata people in 2024 also.Now they will say these were not state holidays for Kolkata?In the govt state holiday list I saw four days of Durga Puja and one day of Diwali as holiday
If it would have been state policy then in Durga Puja there would have been holidays for all the four days. Ultimately it's the company policy which they use for their own purpose and not state policy which is being tried to project
Also for kolkata location there is a half day cut for Sick and Wellness leave where also they use to say as per state policy.Worked in other mnc of kolkata also where such type of policy not there.They also follow state policy.Does that mean only accenture follows state policy and is it a state govt company?
A holy wish from the managers and project leaders is the least we can expect.However there are chats and mails regarding tasks
follow ups and work on yesterday and today.
Also weekend work mails,wfo they can send on frequent basis but not a holi wish at least.
