I think you can make your resume even better with more or less the same information.
Also you may try directly reaching out to the hiring manager or leadership through LinkedIn or drop a formal email
Consider yourself lucky, the only application I ever sent is stuck at "application sent" status. Irony is if I change my status to Looking for jobs actively, I will be spammed with emails and calls.
