Not getting relieving letter & F&F settlement from previous company – Need suggestions

Hi everyone,

I left my previous company after serving the full one-month notice period. My last working day was on the 23rd of August 2025. Since then, I haven’t received my relieving letter or the full & final settlement.

Even during my resignation, they never replied with a clear “accepted” or “okay” to my resignation mail. I’ve been following up constantly with the HR since 12th September, but every time I call, he just says “Okay, I’ll do it now” and then nothing happens.

Now my new company is asking for the resignation of acceptance mail and relieving letter as part of the joining formalities. I was supposed to join on 17th September 2025, but because of this delay, they postponed my joining date to 19th September 2025.

This whole thing is stressing me out. What steps can I take to get my documents and F&F cleared? Is there another way to push HR to move faster? Any advice from people who faced similar situations would be really helpful.
