Not getting interview calls
Hi All,
Are you guys getting calls for Business Analyst position? I have applied to so many companies but not getting calls or any invites 😔.
Is the market situation so bad?
8 YOE in start ups, led teams of 200+ people. Managed revenue of $150+ mil. 0 interviews for a year.
And everytime I get a callback I'm either "over qualified" or "over their budget" by >50%. Some roles, I don't even apply because they need 15+ YOE in a specific field (some of which didn't even exist 10 years ago). Hiring is a little weird right now. Same roles have been open for 6+ months.
People in my network say they've all been experiencing similar things (irrespective of their functions). So yeah, partly a bad market. In my case, it's also partly me. Try to find out what you can inprove, and work on what's kn your control.
What's ur notice period? I'm not getting due to 90 days notice
