Not getting comfortable to the new project.should i change?

I have joined a retails project in sept 24 and still not able to properly analyze the prod issues and always dependent on other old team members.it seems very complex and no proper way to build concept.always find something different way to check issues .i am 9 yr exp in the tibco technology but my knowledge is not working here as its very different here and my technology is very less part of project.thinking to give up and ask for release,is it good decision?
