Not doing anything significant.
Joined TCS recently as Systems Engineer and was selected in NextGen project in Chennai location. It has been 1.5 months and have not done any significant work everything is very relaxed layedback, i don't know if this is normal in corporate, very tensed as I am not learning anything new and nothing to put on my resume, will this affect my job change?
I am also in a similar project with 3yrs exp in it. Will suggest you to switch or change project as soon as possible because once you get comfortable with it, it will be very hard to switch in future.
But how can I switch I am a fresher, if I do ask for transfer they say we can't transfer accounts now you have to have experience of atleast 1yr.
In your case then the only option left is to upskill and try for switch. Don't expect growing here then. As you mentioned that it's pretty laid-back so I belive you will get plenty of time to study.
