Not all men, but always a man

Hold on.. before you jump to conclusions...

While getting down from flight to my hometown, noticed this couple.. The guy was pulling down their bags from an overhead cabin that was a bit ahead of their seats, handing them one by one to his wife. From the joda and mehendi on her hands, it was obvious they were newly married, and probably on vacation.

The moment he got the last bag, people behind started rushing and pushing him to move. He paused, and politely gestured for them to wait. Then he turned back, took all the bags from her again, and made sure she didn’t have to carry anything.. just so she could just walk along comfortably.

Such a small thing, but it stayed with me.

It’s always the little things, no? Anyway… long journey y’all, choose wisely 🤍

He is not a man. He is a simp. Helping your wife is one thing but carrying "all the luggage" that's stupidity. She letting him carry all the luggage is a clear sign of 498a loading.

I hope the guy doesn't end in a blue drum.

If your significant other can make you feel even a little more at ease, that itself is a win..

This was just an example of how a man comforted his partner when she felt anxious in an unfamiliar place.. The way a woman might reciprocate that care could look completely different, perhaps a story for another day :)
