Not able to upgrade in new tech

Hi can anyone tell me how to upgrade yourself in new tech. Currently working as sap commerce cloud developer. Seeing no hope in this technology to grow further… tried study aws and devops but not getting chance to do hands on any project. My knowledge of other techs is getting dull due to this… any way or any other sites where we can practice on high level design and real time projects
