Trending @HCL; Not able to do Nightshifts, can I change my project ?I have not completed 18 months yet
I have recently joined HCL in April. I got US project where we all have to do complete nightshift, since April I am doing nightshifts only. Is there any way to change project stating that nightshift is taking toll on me.
I guess never state night shift as a reason for switch. Unless there is genuine health concern due to it. For manager everyone is same. Instead find a project yourself and ask for a release to change for some other reason like learn new skills, want to change the domain etc.
First try to talk with manager, if its possible to change your shift... if not then Release you from project as you have health concerns. Later reach out to HR if things not go in positive way
Dependent on Manager and HR accompanied by a strong reason as if they would ask yourself to find your own replacement sometimes. Can try convincing the manager First.
