Trending @Infosys; No task from 2-3months
This post is regarding my project allocation From last 2years I was working in project but since feb 2025 they are not assigning any task to me, I need suggestions on this as I am least interested in this project and also want release as per ALCON my project end date is 30th April but when the date comes closer they again change my alcon date 15 days further , should I approach my manager and let her know as I don't have task can they give me release from the project or just upskill myself without any communication with my manager?
Need your suggestions here or has anyone gone through the same scenario?
Don't ping anyone good you are in production code sounds weird right.! 🙂 But my dear pal if you come to bench code unnecessary trainings would be getting assigned to you from different sources... if you got released from current project 1st you will be in unit bench code, if skill doesn't suite then after 30 days you will be placed to central bench, central has cross organisation opportunities but still non skill relevant training will be assigned ... So conclusion would say keep the production & Alcon changing don't squeeze, instead in this time up-skill yourself by learning your interest stack and quietly appear and apply for IJP opportunity and check for bridge opportunities as-well it just started this quarter ...😎
But no issues will happen right in future they should not come and ask why didn't I discuss as I didn't have a task Thanks for ur suggestion
