Trending @HCL; No Shift Allowances
I work in a project where I'm in a support role and there are 24/7 rotational shifts, need to report to the office and with less salary, I and my teammates thought we deserve atleast shift allowances and we discussed with HR and HR says we are providing you free cab and as per HCL policies we cannot provide shift allowances, not even for night shits.
If there is someone seniors looking into this, please take an action.
They exploit people to the core. Every weekend we have to be available for one reason or the other. Sometimes it's patching or a change that has to be deployed and we just need to be there to test whether everything is working fine or not. We used to apply for weekend allowance but today the Honourable Manager of mine told us that from now on, no weekend allowance will be given. If you have worked on weekend or on holiday then it will be analysed what and how much work you did and based on that you will be given some time off in upcoming week. I mean day by day their policies are becoming toxic. Already paying us so low and now work is compulsory but no payment.

This is something that HCL does not entertain. Nor they pay you on-call allowance.
This should be reviewed by Labour Ministry.
I have more than 6 years experience in hcl and in my all projects there is no night allowance. Don't even think about it. There is no night allowance in hcl
